Please carefully follow this guide to ensure you are getting critical alerts when they are sent. Some parts of this process are not automatic if you simply click through the setup.
1. Open the InformaCast App
2. Logging in
Press the Log In button to continue.
Enter your email address and press the arrow button. This is the same as your Questar Email.
You will be directed to a login portal with our logo. Please enter your email in again, then your account password and MFA as needed. This is the same portal that you would see if you logged into your email.
3. Allow Location Permissions
Once logged in, you will initially be greeted by the Location Services Screen. Press Manage Location Services.
On this screen, press the small link to enable location services, this will open up the settings.
Select the Location option and change from When Shared to Always and then return to the app by going to the home screen or changing active app.
You may now select Continue to App.
4. Allow Notification Permissions
Next is the Notifications Page. Press the Manage Push Notifications button.
Press Allow.
5. Allow Critical Alerts
Finally the Critical Alerts page. Press Manage Critical Alerts.
Press Allow
You are all set! Now you may use the app.
