If you have multiple monitors, you may want to adjust their behavior and layout.
Projection Menu
Hold the Windows key and press P to open the projection menu. You can use this menu to change the behavior of the displays connected to your computer. Selecting the Duplicate setting will show the same image on all screens. This setting can be useful if you're giving a presentation in a room with a projector. Extend will show different images on each display and allow you to drag windows from one display to another. This setting is convenient when you're sitting at your desk with two or more screens in front of you.

Display Settings
To change the computer's display arrangement to match the physical setup, use the display settings.
Windows 11
- Click the Start button.
- Open the Settings app. You may need to search for it. You can start typing at any time in this menu.
- Click Display.
- Use the Identify button to see which display corresponds to which number.
- Click and drag to arrange the displays correctly.
- Press the Apply button to save the settings.
- Try it out by dragging the Settings app from screen to screen.
Windows 10
- Click the Start button.
- Open the Settings app by clicking the gear above the power button.
- Click System.
- Use the Identify button to see which display corresponds to which number.
