Persistent notifications do not auto dismiss. This can be important to making sure emergency notifications are not missed.
1. Open the Settings App
2. Scroll down until you see notifications and select it.
3. Scroll down until you see InformaCast and select it.
4. Scroll down until you see banner style. Change Temporary to Persistent.
