The Zoom AI Companion is a new feature enabled for Questar III Zoom-licensed accounts. AI powers this companion to help users with their Zoom Meetings. The Zoom AI Companion can help answer questions in real-time, summarize meetings, and break up meeting recordings into highlights and analytics. This allows for increased productivity and collaborative work through Zoom. Here’s a getting-started guide from Zoom on this new feature that we have previously shared - https://blog.zoom.us/zoom-ai-companion-getting-started-guide/.
How to Enable/Disable Zoom AI Companion Features
Note: The Zoom AI Companion is only enabled for paid Zoom accounts. Basic Zoom accounts do not have access to the AI Companion currently.
- To access the Zoom AI Companion settings, log on to the Zoom Web Portal. (Here)
- Access your settings on the panel on the left and select the AI Companion tab.
- Click the slider on the right of each option to enable or disable the Zoom AI Companion features you want to modify. The screenshot below shows both the meeting summary and AI Companion features enabled as an example.
Disabling Zoom AI Companion in a Meeting

- On the meeting control toolbar, click AI Companion. This will open the AI Companion panel on the right side of the application window.
