The Windows Operating System contains many helpful keyboard shortcuts that can aid with productivity. One of these valuable shortcuts is the Snip and Sketch Feature keyboard shortcut.
This feature allows users to take screenshots of certain sections of their screen, and then paste them elsewhere. Below is a brief demonstration of how to use this fantastic feature.
Use Win + Shift + S to launch Snip & Sketch.
When these keys are pressed, your entire screen should turn slightly grey. When this happens, you can drag and draw a rectangle anywhere on your screen, and when you release it, it will be turned into a screenshot that you can use elsewhere. Included below is a screen capture of the process.
As you can see above, you drag a rectangle across the screen, which produces the screenshot below. To paste this screenshot, use the keyboard shortcut CRTL + V or right-click and select paste with your mouse.
